NICHE started its journey as an Engineering College in 1989, driven by a vision to establish itself as a distinguished centre of excellence in higher education characterized by uncompromising standards of discipline and ethics. In the year 2008, NICHE was accorded Deemed-to-be-University status and was awarded Grade ‘A’ by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC)
The emphasis of Allied Health Sciences is to provide a knowledge-based, timely, cost-effective, and high-quality service to improve the quality and accessibility of health care for all people and enhance patient care by supporting all aspects of care-related technology.
The department offers Bachelor's Degree programs in Renal Dialysis Technology, Cardiac Care Technology, Perfusion Technology, Human Genetics and Molecular Biology, Forensic Science, and Psychology. To excel in the field, postgraduate programs and Ph.D. programs in Human Genetics and Molecular Biology are also offered.

UG Arts & Science:
Candidates must have passed the 10+2 exam with at least 40% marks in any discipline.
PG Arts & Science:
The minimum qualification required to apply is a bachelor's degree in respective discipline or any Life Science course from a recognized University in UG are eligible with the cut-off 45% for all the MSc Courses.
