NICHE started its journey as an Engineering College in 1989, driven by a vision to establish itself as a distinguished centre of excellence in higher education characterized by uncompromising standards of discipline and ethics. In the year 2008, NICHE was accorded Deemed-to-be-University status and was awarded Grade ‘A’ by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC)
Humanities & Science has been an integral part of NICHE since its inception. The department is known for its strong academic and research environment.
The department continually enhances its teaching and learning methodologies by developing effective instructional strategies, engaging with modern students, and incorporating technology into education. It offers multiple programs UG, PG, and Ph.D. (both full-time and part-time). To keep pace with the latest advancements in the field of Humanities & Science the department regularly organizes conferences, seminars, and workshops for students and faculty members.

UG Arts & Science:
Candidates must have passed the 10+2 exam with at least 40% marks in any discipline.
PG Arts & Science:
Candidates must have passed a UG course with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidates).
