NICHE started its journey as an Engineering College in 1989, driven by a vision to establish itself as a distinguished centre of excellence in higher education characterized by uncompromising standards of discipline and ethics. In the year 2008, NICHE was accorded Deemed-to-be-University status and was awarded Grade ‘A’ by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC)
The Department of Management Studies has made significant progress since its establishment twenty-three years ago. Over time, it has carved NICHE in the corporate world, with seventeen successful batches of graduates serving as a testament to its excellence. The department believes that the essence of management lies in effectively managing one's ambitions and advancing with a clear sense of purpose.
Emphasizing the importance of a strong theoretical foundation as the basis for sound corporate practice, the department's MBA program is benchmarked against the best business schools globally. The program features experiential learning, societal connectivity initiatives, corporate awareness programs, and outbound training as key components. The MBA program also recognizes the evolving corporate landscape, which integrates profitability with social responsibility and good governance.

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) program was introduced in 1994 with the approval of AICTE. Since its inception, the department has continuously worked to enhance the learning process in alignment with evolving business and management paradigms.

UG Arts & Science:
Candidates must have passed the 10+2 exam with at least 40% marks in any discipline.
PG Arts & Science:
Candidates must have passed a UG course with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidates).
