With over 90% of global trade being transported by ships, the shipping industry plays a crucial role in the world economy. Given its international nature, substantial capital investment, and environmental considerations, the industry requires skilled marine professionals to operate the vast fleet of ships navigating international waters.
The primary objective of the Marine Engineering program at the university is to equip and guide students to become competent marine engineers, a profession that is in high demand both in India and abroad. This field offers excellent career prospects and is known for its highly lucrative opportunities.
